These will be added to a portfolio pre-installed apps such as S Voice, S Health and S Finder.Ī pair of bottom facing speakers will deliver un-muffled music that can be enhanced with Sound Alive+. ![]() EXPANDABLE MEMORY NOTE 5 ANDROIDNote 5 featuresĪs previously mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will run the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, giving access to new apps from Google Play and the Samsung App Store. A wide aperture will let in more light to tackle night time photography. Professional photographers will be able to adjust every imaginable setting in Samsung Pro Mode, while novice photographers can snap away, care free, in Auto Mode. The same applies to the selfie camera where we could see an 8MP camera replacing the 3.7MP camera used on the Note 4. EXPANDABLE MEMORY NOTE 5 UPDATEThis is being developed and manufactured by Samsung Electronics and is an update to the Exynos 7420 processor used on the Galaxy S6 Note 5 photographyįor photography, Samsung is tipped to tilt the scales heavily in the favour of the Note 5 with a 20MP camera replacing the 16MP camera seen on the Galaxy Note 4. The Note 5 experience will be powered by an Octa-core 64-bit Exynos 7422 processor with 3GB RAM. Due to the restriction of expandable memory, Samsung may offer complimentary Cloud storage with OneDrive for a two year period. Just like the Galaxy S6, the Note 5 will not have a microSD card slot, so consumers will have to choose between a fixed memory of 64GB or 128GB. The stylus will be locked into place by magnets, offering a rather cool on-command eject feature. This means that there will be a blend of metallic frame and glass back, but with the addition of the S Pen stylus. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumoured to be receiving the same design characteristics as the Samsung Galaxy S6. Android M is tipped for release before the end of the year and although the Note 5 will be shipped with Android Lollipop, Android M will be available via an over the air update. EXPANDABLE MEMORY NOTE 5 CODEThe most likely resolution is QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) but the possibility of a 4K screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels isn’t impossible.Ī signal to the advent of 4K screens on phablets is hinted to in the developer’s version of Android M, which includes the code for app developers to check if the device has a 4K screen. It is almost certain that the Galaxy Note 5 will have a 5.9-inch Super AMOLED screen, but the possible resolution of the display varies tremendously depending upon which rumour is listened to. If the edge display does appear on both sides of the Note 5 then the ergonomics will finally be levelled for both left and right-handed users. A quick tap of the coloured band on the edge display can also be used to launch a call, text or email to the chosen contact. This allows the user to colour code contacts for easy recognition of incoming notifications. The edge display would have the same functionality as the one used on the Galaxy S6 edge. It is more likely that the screen will come as standard but with the curved edge display incorporated into either one or both sides. There are several possibilities for the configuration of the Galaxy Note 5’s screen, with a flexible display being the least likely, but not impossible. However, rumours suggest that a re-branding could be likely, so this reinvention may well be named the Samsung Galaxy S6 Note, bringing it in-line with the flagship Galaxy S series. This takes place this year in Berlin between the 4th and 9th of September. The Galaxy Note range usually presents its latest sibling to the press at the IFA trade show. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 rumours have many in the industry excited as the expected announcement and launch of either late August or early September approaches. ![]()
